Sometimes, life throws you nasty, spiky curve balls. In December 2012, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
The diagnosis came at the end of a particularly tough year for my family. It seemed like a cruel joke; a way for the universe to say "Thought you're troubles for 2012 were over? Think again!"
The hardest part of the diagnosis was to realise that the many ailments I'd been trying to find answers for now had no cure. Sounds terribly bleak and not the least bit lovely, doesn't it? Don't worry, the story has a happy ending.
