It's an exciting time in our house - Hunter starts big school next week. He's beyond excited.
I also started a new job this week so I've been working away getting organised in preparation for his big day. We've bought uniforms, his school branded bag and library bag and all of the other paraphernalia that goes along with an education.
It's brought back lovely memories of receiving new coloured pencils and school supplies when I was young. (I still have a thing for stationery.)
In getting organised, one of my primary goals was to make sure all of Hunter's belongings were properly labelled. Both Hunter and Charlotte attended preschool last year and I lost count of the number of bucket hats they misplaced. (Incidentally, where go bucket hats go to die? I'm sure there is an enormous pile somewhere hidden from all mothers with small children.)
Stuck on You kindly sent Hunter a range of personalised items to help avoid any losses and I've been busily attaching name labels, shoe dots and clothing lables to everything we buy.
Hunter was most impressed with his robot bag tag and exercise books and has already started practising his wrtiting.
I've used Stuck on You before to buy backpacks and lunchboxes and I highly recommend Their products. They're well designed and durable - you can't ask for more in a product for school.

We would love some personalised books - my son has an unusual name so we never find it on nameplates etc etc. That would make him feel extra special as he starts big school this year!

I love the bag tags! In a preschool where all the bags look the same, it would be so nice to quickly spot our bag. :)

Labels - loving labels
Everything needs to be labelled, last year was great (prep) next to nothing needed labels as it went into group items for the entire class but not this year !!

I know it's not quite school related but I would love to get the petsonalised wooden puzzle, so I can start teaching my little guy to recognise his name!

I'd love to get the name labels. In fact, I need to get some very soon as my girls start kinder next week. I've been putting off getting labels for some reason, which is strange, because as a teacher I know just how much labels help. There is nothing more annoying than a pile of lost property that nobody seems to want.

I love the pink and white striped towel, it would have my daughters name sewn on it which would be great, as she has swimming lessons with the school soon after going back, and every year towels go missing. There are no other Alyssa's in her group, so this one would not get lost. How cool is that!
