If you follow me on Pinterest, you'll know that I'm currently having a love affair with grey in children's rooms. To indulge my love affair a little further, I thought I'd share this lovely grey and pink nursery from Cape 27 (spotted over at Made By Girl) with you today.
This Love artwork is something you could easily make at home by cutting out letters from a selection of pretty papers.
Framing pieces of fabric is an inexpensive way to make art for children's rooms. Here, a range of frames were collected from thrift stores and then spray painted white.
The nursery dresser is also an ingenious DIY projects - a converted IKEA Expedit bookcase, with drawers, legs and new knobs.
Oh, sock monkeys always make me smile...
Wall mounted shelving is a fabulous room feature (and great for extra storage). Just be sure to mount it high enough above the crib so that your little ones can't reach the shelves when they grow bigger!
No nursery is complete without softies. Here, a galvanised tub is used to store toys complementing the galvanised tubs used in the nursery dresser.

What a pretty space! I'm hoping for a girl one day & this will be the perfect colour scheme. Still girlie, but not too much pink - the grey compliments it wonderfully.
