I've finally found the time to create the 'How To' posts for Hunter's birthday party.
Thank you for your emails asking about them and your patience while I worked on them. I hope you'll be pleasantly surprised with how easy the projects are.
The first in the series is the dinosaur cupcake toppers.
You'll need
- Card stock
- Coloured paper
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Tape
- Toothpicks
- Draw the outline of a dinosaur onto a piece of cardstock. (If you're not creative, find one here.) Cut it out. This will form your template for the cupcake toppers.
- Trace the outline of your template onto the back of your coloured paper. Repeat until the desired number of toppers has been traced. Cut them out.
- Turn the cut out over an attach a toothpick to the back with tape.
- Place in your cupcake!
Note: If you would like a more 'finished' look, you can create a reverse dinosaur and attach it to the back of the topper so the toothpick is hidden. In my experience, they don't stay in the cupcakes long enough to bother.
Oh, and for those who wanted to know, I used (and recommend) these cupcake baking cups.

How clever i love this idea awesome blog hugs
Enjoy your Easter!
