Didn't you just love the shoot from Sandy's circus birthday party? The other details from the celebration are equally as lovely. Like this circus sign complete with fairy lights and a parade of animals.
Themed cakes are always sweet. I particularly like the little elephant with his party hat. Tiny elephants just seem especially cute, don't they?
Did you notice the sign from the beginning of the post was used as a backdrop for the dessert table? It's these details that would have made this party truly magical.
And everyone loves a fake moustache. I'm planning to use a backdrop for guest photos at Hunter's upcoming party, like Sandy did. It really connects the photographs and is a great reminder of who was there to share the special day.
I hope you enjoyed this party as much as I enjoyed sharing it with you.

What lovely idea for a birthday party. I'm sure lots of kids have fun that day. Circus is quite exciting to watch.

This is the most beautiful party I've seen in a long, long time! I love everything about it--thank you for sharing it...Do you know how they made the "circus" light?

I'm not sure Amy, but I'll see if I can find out! x

Thank you SO much for the "lovely" things you've said regarding our circus party. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your kind words. You really made my day!!
Amy asked about the circus light...It's just a board with pre-made paper mache letters adhered to it. We traced the letters onto the wood and then drilled holes in the proper spots. Afterwards we glued the letters on and used the pre-drilled holes to create smaller openings in the letters. Then we just pushed a string of Christmas lights into the holes. I make it sound like "we" did it but we had family in town and it was a joint project envisioned by me and then brought to life by my stepfather, father, and husband. It took several hours. I'm so happy you liked it. Now that the party is over, however, I'm not sure what to do with it. I love it and don't want to throw it out but it won't fit in the house anywhere. I need suggestions! :)
Thank you again!
Warm Regards,
Sandy

Thanks so much for explaining the circus lights Sandy. Maybe you could sell the sign on eBay if you don't have any further use for it. I'm sure someone would snap it up in no time! x

I love the daughter's costume! Was the whole thing sewn from scratch?
