I've been a fan of Irene's blog since it was launched, so I'm thrilled to announce I'll be joining the team as a regular Craft Contributor. You can see my first project - the Recycled Castle - over at B:Kids today.
Every second Tuesday I'll be posting a new craft project that you can make at home with your little ones. I'd love to hear your thoughts on my first project, so please leave a comment :)

I love this castle! The bold colors really make it so striking! The only thing I would possibly change is cutting out the door so it flips down like a drawbridge (but that's only because my son spent most of last year OBSESSED with knights and castles). I recently made him a cardboard skyscraper from a pattern in an old book that was much more detailed but really, just ended up being frustrating for me. He would've been thrilled with something this simple.
